Comparison

Best outsourced SDR companiesand whether to outsource at all

Short answer

Six companies we checked sell the SDR function as a named product or team: CIENCE (part of the graph8 group), Belkins, Cleverly, Martal Group, SalesRoads and WeeGrow. Four of them publish a number: Cleverly at $3,000 a month, Belkins from $5,000 with no period stated, CIENCE at $7,499 for the first month all in, SalesRoads starting around $12,000 a month. Set against a fully loaded in-house SDR at a market estimate of $5,500 to $8,500 a month, outsourcing is mostly not a way to save money. It is a way to buy speed and to move hiring and ramp risk off your own balance sheet. And if your ICP and your message are not yet proven, none of these six will fix that, so do not outsource yet.

Written by WeeGrow, so read it with that in mind. We sell an outsourced SDR service too, and we are listed below on the same criteria as everyone else. Every competitor fact on this page was read off that company’s own website on 26 September 2026, and the source URLs are listed under the table. the numbers that reframe the decision
Four of the six publish a figure. Only two publish a whole-programme price with a month attached, $3,000 and around $12,000, against a market estimate of $5,500 to $8,500 a month for a fully loaded in-house SDR. Belkins attaches no period to its $5,000, and CIENCE prices the system and the people separately. Outsourcing is not the cheap option the category implies.
01The real decision

The question is not which vendor. It is outsourced, in-house, or neither.

Almost every page ranking for this query is a vendor list. A list is the wrong shape for the decision, because by the time you are choosing between six logos you have already made the expensive choice: that a dedicated prospecting function is the right thing to buy this quarter. That choice is worth more scrutiny than the shortlist.

So here is the comparison nobody in this category publishes, costed at the market ranges we already use on our B2B lead generation cost breakdown. Three routes, one year, same targets.

RouteWhat a year costsWhen conversations startWhat you own after 12 monthsWhat breaks it
Outsource to an SDR company$1,500 to $5,000+ per month is the published market band for done-for-you agency work as a market range, roughly $18,000 to $60,000+ over a year. The outsourced SDR figures published by the vendors below span that band and run past the top of it: the lowest is CIENCE’s $1,500 level 1 SDR line, printed with no billing period beside it, and the highest is SalesRoads at around $12,000 per month.Weeks. Belkins publishes first meetings inside the first 30 to 45 days; CIENCE advertises results in 30 days. The meetings, plus whatever data, domains and sequences your contract says are yours. Ask in writing, because most vendors do not state it.An unproven ICP or offer. A competent agency will run the motion you handed them faster than you could, including when the motion is wrong.
Hire an in-house SDR$5,500 to $8,500 per month fully loaded as a market estimate, once salary, payroll costs, tools, data and management time are counted honestly. Roughly $66,000 to $102,000 over a year.Months. You recruit first, then ramp, and three to six months before an SDR produces independently is normal rather than pessimistic.A trained person and a real in-house capability, for exactly as long as that person stays.Hiring before anyone inside the business knows what good outbound looks like in your market. There is then nobody qualified to coach the hire.
Neither, for now$50 to $150 per seat per month for tooling as a market range, roughly $600 to $1,800 over a year, plus founder hours that are real money even when they never appear on an invoice. This week, at whatever volume a founder can personally sustain alongside everything else. The sharpest possible understanding of who buys and why, because you heard every objection in person. It does not scale, and it stops entirely the week the founder gets busy with delivery or fundraising.

Read the first two rows next to each other and the usual pitch stops working. Outsourcing is sold as the cheap alternative to headcount, but the published outsourced SDR prices in this category are not cheap relative to a salary. They are close to it. What you are actually buying is a different risk profile: someone else carries the recruitment, the ramp, the tooling and the replacement cost, and you can stop in months rather than managing an exit.

That is a good trade when speed matters and the motion is known. It is a poor trade when you are still learning what to say, because speed applied to the wrong message just produces a burnt list faster. Run your own numbers through the pipeline ROI calculator before you sign anything, using your real deal size and close rate rather than the ones in a case study.

02The shortlist

Six companies we checked that sell the SDR function as a named product or team

Plenty of agencies will run cold email for you. Far fewer sell the SDR function itself: a person or unit that researches, writes, sends, calls, handles the replies and books the meeting. The inclusion rule here is worth stating plainly. The vendor has to sell that function as a named, ongoing product or team, described on its own site, rather than as a one-off campaign quoted in a deck. Every page we read is listed under the table, and we read all of them on 26 September 2026.

One row stretches that rule, so we will say so here rather than bury it. Martal Group sells fractional, full-time and enterprise sales teams and names nothing for the SDR function: on 26 September 2026 its navigation listed B2B appointment setting, outbound lead generation, cold emailing, cold calling, LinkedIn lead generation and a sales outsourcing service, with no SDR-named product among them. We include it as the closest equivalent in the category, because buyers shortlist it against the other five, and its row says exactly what it sells instead.

This is a shortlist, not a census. It is the set of vendors we checked, and there are certainly others that would pass the same test. What we left out, and why: agencies selling a channel campaign with no named team or function standing behind it, staffing firms that recruit an SDR for you to employ rather than running one, and anyone whose offer exists only in a sales deck rather than on the site. If a vendor meets the rule and is missing here, tell us and we will check it and add it.

Every cell below is what that company publishes, in their wording. Where a vendor does not publish something, the cell says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate. The blanks are informative: commitment terms in particular are unpublished almost everywhere, which is the first thing to ask about on a call.

CompanyWhat the SDR product isPublished priceCommitmentBest suited to
CIENCE (part of the graph8 group)Managed outbound and inbound SDR teams, scaled outbound, local SDR and full inside-sales desks, run on the graph8 platform. The most itemised pricing in this group. GTM System Setup at $5,000 one-time, Performance-Driven Growth at $2,000 /mo, the graph8 infrastructure at $499 /mo, and a stated first month all in of $7,499. Those line items mean the recurring programme is $2,499 /mo once the one-time setup is behind you, before any SDR capacity. Capacity is priced separately in a table of levels running from $1,500 (offshore, level 1) to $6,500 (US, level 3), with no billing period printed in the table itself, plus $1,000 one-time per SDR for onboarding and recruitment.Their outbound SDR page states “No contracts. Results in 30 days. Month to month.” Their pricing page states that SDR capacity is optional and priced separately “so teams can add coverage without a long-term contract”.Teams that want the whole go-to-market system bought and built, and who want to see the line items before they sign anything.
BelkinsA dedicated SDR unit recruited, trained and managed for your engagement, wrapped in manual lead research, copywriting, appointment booking and no-show recovery.Their outsourced SDR page states “The average starter price: from $5,000”. No billing period is printed next to that figure, though Belkins’ pricing page describes the packages themselves as monthly retainers: “Explore our monthly retainer packages, custom-built for your growth goals, markets, and preferred channels.” Belkins still attaches no period to the $5,000, so confirm what that figure buys before you compare it with anything else. Not published. No contract length or minimum commitment appears on the outsourced SDR page or the pricing page.Companies that want a named, dedicated SDR resource with a heavy research and booking layer built around them.
CleverlyOutsourced SDRs as one of five core services alongside LinkedIn, cold email, appointment setting and cold calling. Research and list building, multi-channel outreach, reply handling and ongoing optimisation. The clearest single number on this page. Their outsourced SDR FAQ states: “Cleverly’s outsourced SDR solution is priced at $3,000/month on a retainer model.”Not published on the outsourced SDR page.Buyers who want a known price before the first call, and who want LinkedIn, email and calling bought from one vendor.
Martal GroupFractional, full-time and enterprise sales teams covering outbound, appointment setting and, at the higher tiers, customer onboarding and account management. Their homepage states 200+ onshore sales executives. Martal names no product for the SDR function itself, so the sales team tiers are the closest equivalent here rather than a like-for-like SDR product, which is why they are the one row that stretches the shortlist rule above.None for their own service. Martal publishes no price on martal.ca/pricing; the only dollar figures on that page are the inputs and outputs of their ROI calculator, which are your numbers rather than theirs. Tier 1A is described as a “flat fee per month”, and tiers 2 and 3 as a “flat fee per month + sales commission”.Published, and longer than the others. Tier 1A runs a “3 Month Pilot Campaign”, tiers 2 and 3 a “4 Month Pilot Campaign”, each followed by a monthly subscription.Teams selling into North America who want quota-carrying sellers rather than meeting bookers, and who will trade price transparency to get them.
SalesRoadsA whole outsourced sales development department rather than individual reps: dedicated SDRs plus a client strategist, an SDR performance coach and a research and data team. Their site states “Our SDRs average 7 years sales and appointment setting experience.”The highest published figure on this page. Their SDR outsourcing page states: “High-quality sales outsourcing starts around $12,000 per month and scales with team size.”Published, which is rare here. Their SDR outsourcing page states “Cancel anytime. No Commitments.”Teams that want a managed department with coaching and research wrapped around the reps, and whose budget sits above a fully loaded in-house SDR rather than below it.
WeeGrowLinkedIn-first outbound run with you, not at you: ICP research, list building, outreach across LinkedIn, email and calling, reply handling, and qualified meeting booking under your name.None published. Every engagement is scoped and quoted in writing after a free audit, so the number matches your targets rather than a tier we invented.Cancel any time after the first 90 days.Founder-led B2B teams who want the outbound motion built with them and kept in the business, and who can still be reached by the people running the campaigns.

Two notes on how to read prices in this category. First, Belkins prints “The average starter price: from $5,000” with no billing period attached to the figure. Its pricing page does describe the packages as monthly retainers, but the period is still not printed against the $5,000 itself, so the figure is not directly comparable to Cleverly’s monthly retainer until you ask what it buys. Second, CIENCE separates the system from the people: the published recurring programme is $2,499 a month once the one-time setup is paid, and SDR capacity is quoted on top of it, so a like-for-like number depends on how many SDRs at which level you actually take. Our own service is on the outsourced SDR services page, and a head-to-head with one of the vendors above is in WeeGrow vs Cleverly.

03Before you buy

Do not outsource yet if any of these are true

Outsourced SDR engagements fail for boring, predictable reasons, and almost none of them are the vendor’s competence. They are upstream of the vendor entirely. Work through these five before you take a single sales call, including ours. If one of them is true, fix it first and the same budget will go much further in three months’ time.

01

You cannot name why your last five customers bought

Outbound is the act of explaining, to a stranger, a reason to buy that you already know works. If you cannot state that reason in one sentence, an SDR company will test your guess at scale and bill you for the education.

02

Nobody internally has had a cold first meeting in 90 days

Someone in the business needs to have heard the objections first hand and recently. Without that, you have nobody who can tell a good meeting from a bad one, which makes the qualification bar unenforceable.

03

The offer changes between calls

A shifting offer is a reasonable thing early on, and a terrible thing to hand to a third party. Messaging takes two to three weeks to test properly. If the offer moves inside that window, nothing ever gets a clean read.

04

There is no written definition of a qualified meeting

Company size, role, budget authority, trigger, timeline. Agree it in writing before anyone dials. Every dispute about outsourced SDR performance we have seen traces back to two parties using the same word for two different things.

05

Nobody has calendar space to take the meetings

Booked meetings that get rescheduled twice and then cancelled are worse than no meetings, because they burn the prospect and the list. Count the hours your closers actually have before you buy more of their pipeline.

If none are true

Then outsourcing is a reasonable buy

You know who buys, you know why, someone internally can judge a meeting, the bar is written down and there is calendar space to take the conversations. That is the state in which a good SDR partner compounds rather than churns. Start narrow, on one segment and one message, and widen only after the first segment replies.

04Honest fit

We would rather you picked right than picked us

Outsource the SDR function if

  • You need conversations inside the quarter, not after a hiring cycle
  • You already know which segment buys and roughly why
  • You do not want to carry recruitment, ramp and replacement risk
  • You want more than one channel running at once from day one
  • Outbound is not yet a capability you need to own permanently

Hire in-house instead if

  • The motion is already proven and you are scaling something that works
  • Someone senior can genuinely coach and manage an SDR week to week
  • Deal sizes are large enough that deep product knowledge changes outcomes
  • You want the learning to compound inside the business, not inside a vendor
  • You can absorb three to six months of ramp before output arrives

Where WeeGrow is the wrong answer

We take the hiring, the training and the day to day management of an SDR off you, the same as everyone else on this list. What we do not take off you is the judgement. WeeGrow is done with you: about two hours of your time in week one to agree the ICP and the qualification bar, then a weekly check-in and fast answers on the replies that need your call. If you would rather buy outbound and never look at it again, Cleverly, Belkins, CIENCE and SalesRoads all sell a more hands-off product and sell it well.

If you need hundreds of meetings a quarter across many segments at once, a larger agency with bench depth will serve you better than we will. If your buyers are not on LinkedIn, our strongest channel is wasted, and you should weigh a calling-led vendor instead. And if you sell to consumers, none of the six companies on this page is built for you.

Where we do fit: founder-led B2B teams who want LinkedIn lead generation run properly as the front door, with email and calling behind it, and who want the system to stay in the business afterwards. Our founder Asfand spent 8+ years leading B2B sales, most recently as Head of Corporate Sales at InvoZone, with $30M+ in cumulative closed revenue and enterprise deals up to $3M+ across SaaS, technology, fintech, healthcare and telecom. More on that on the about page.

A free 30 minute audit. If the honest answer is that you should not outsource yet, or that one of the other five fits you better, we will say so on the call.

05FAQ

Outsourced SDR companies, answered

  • Four of the six companies we checked publish a figure. Cleverly states its outsourced SDR solution is “priced at $3,000/month on a retainer model”. Belkins states “The average starter price: from $5,000”, with no billing period attached to that figure, although its pricing page describes the packages as monthly retainers. CIENCE itemises a $5,000 one-time setup, $2,000 /mo for the strategic team and $499 /mo for the platform, giving a stated first month all in of $7,499 and a recurring $2,499 /mo thereafter, with SDR capacity quoted separately from $1,500 to $6,500 by level and location. SalesRoads states that “High-quality sales outsourcing starts around $12,000 per month and scales with team size.” Martal Group publishes no dollar figure for its own service at all.
